Rural landscapes in Denmark

A camera, a backpack and some winterboots. A month on the road. A journey by foot across Denmark. A journey in humanity. ’Lifelines along the way’ is a photographic narrative of the Danish landscape from south to north and a personal story of being alone in the raw winter landscape and dependent on the people who open their homes to you. A split feeling of belonging right there in the harsh landscape, but needing the human tenderness. Exhausting long-distance wanderings contrast with the warm caves offered for overnight stays. Two contrasting worlds, both lifelines.
